Help out

In addition to signing up for the newsletter and sharing the video with your friends and colleagues, there are several things you could do to help support proper regulation.

  1. Contact politicians Members of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives welcome feedback from participants in the energy markets and other concerned citizens.
    1. Contact representatives from the state in which you reside.
    2. Contact members of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. These individuals are directly responsible for providing FERC regulatory authority.
  2. Contact the Inspector General The Office of Inspector General is a government agency that has a mission to “To be a highly effective organization that promotes positive change.” The Inspector General oversees FERC Office of Enforcement and has already received concerns about FERC OE from multiple parties, including three senators and Powhatan Energy Fund LLC. If you have information related to suspected violations of criminal and civil statutes or serious administrative misconduct by FERC OE, please contact the IG at (800) 541-1625 or via the Internet at ighotline@hq.doe.gov.
  3. Donate to a non-profit The Pufferfish Foundation is a recently established non-profit. Its goal is to stop bullying behavior. The Foundation’s name is derived from the fact that the Pufferfish is a fun-loving animal that is generally very peaceful. But, when attacked, it blows up in self-defense.
